Bruce Nelson

Bruce is a longtime Woolly Company member, having appeared in Wonder of the World, Big Love, Dead Monkey, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, After Ashley, and Fuddy Meers (Helen Hayes Nomination). In Washington, DC, and Baltimore area, he has been seen at the Everyman Theatre: I Am My Own Wife, The Mystery of Irma Vep, Art, The Turn of the Screw, The School for Scandal, The Cripple of Inishmaan, The Drawer Boy, The Pavilion (Baltimore City Paper, Best Actor), As Bees in Honey Drown, The Crucible, Hedda Gabler, Watch on the Rhine; Rep Stage: Bach at Leipzig, Stones in his Pockets, Santaland Diaries, Neville’s Island, Kimberly Akimbo, The Lonesome West, Travels with My Aunt, The Violet Hour (Helen Hayes Award), The Dazzle (Helen Hayes Award), Faith Healer (Helen Hayes Nomination), The Mystery of Irma Vep (Helen Hayes Nomination); Folger Theatre: The Comedy of Errors, She Stoops to Conquer; Olney Theatre Center: Farragut North, The Elephant Man, Prelude to a Kiss, The Underpants; Signature Theatre: Never the Sinner, Over and Over ; Washington Shakespeare: The Triumph of Love (Helen Hayes Nomination); The Shakespeare Theatre: The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Taming of the Shrew; and Baltimore Shakespeare: The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Merry Wives of Windsor.
