Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company is an exciting desination for rental events in downtown Washington, DC. Our versatile space is able to host a variety of special events including: your next annual party, wedding, corporate event, day to week-long conference, or film screening. Woolly's dynamic space offers patrons the bility to choose between four distinct spaces that can be used to fit nearly any event needed.

KOGOD LOBBY

Our spectacular, three-tiered lobby has received several architecture awards and features a magnificent light wall that wraps around the back of the theatre.

Occupancy: 350
Technical Info: Concessions counter, public restrooms/water fountains, lobby furniture, and sound system.

MAIN THEATRE

An English courtyard-style theatre features orchestra, boxes, and balcony seating for up to 265 with no chair situated more than 120 feet from the stage.
Size (stage): 30' deep x 54' wide x 35' high
Occupancy: 265 Basic
Technical Info: Full lighting, sound, and rigging capabilities.

MELTON
REHEARSAL HALL

Our flexible rehearsal hall features the amenities of a larger performance venue in a distinctly intimate space.
Size: 35' x 43'
Occupancy: 100
Technical Info: Allows for variable configurations based on need. Chairs and risers for 100, lighting instruments, and sound equipment are available.

MEYER FOUNDATON
CLASSROOM

A compact, well-lit classroom space that is versatile enough to accommodate nearly any event need.
Size: 30' x 22'
Occupancy: 50
Technical Info: Carpeted floor with 25 chairs and two tables available.
