DONATIONS: Charlie’s Place is most in need of men’s clothing (new or used coats, sweaters, jeans, boots/shoes & new socks and underwear) but also collects toiletries, bus and metro cards and takes cash donations.

The mission of Charlie's Place is one of empowerment to encourage community, health and independence among men and women who are homeless or poor in its surrounding neighborhoods of Dupont Circle, Adams Morgan, Mt. Pleasant and Columbia Heights. Services include a breakfast program, clothes distribution, barbering services, writing classes, nursing services, space for personal hygiene and a stable address.
