Volunteer

We rely on a dedicated group of volunteers for a variety of tasks — primarily ushering and ticket taking at performances.

Ushering Overview

Ushers are scheduled to arrive one hour prior to the start of the show. We ask that ushers dress semi-casually (no jeans or sneakers). Responsibilities include stuffing programs, collecting tickets, seating patrons, selling merchandise and handing out programs. All ushers will be able to see the entire performance. Seats to view the production are not guaranteed and depend on how many seats have been sold for that particular show. Ushers should be prepared to stand for the duration of the performance.

Our family of volunteer ushers is very important to the daily operations at Woolly, so all ushers must sign up in advance. We will not accept walk ups night of show.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer usher at Woolly, please contact ushering@woollymammoth.net. You will receive a confirmation email requesting a brief phone interview. Please note: ushers are scheduled on a first come, first served, space availability basis.
