Main Stage Single Ticket Prices

These prices are for the five main stage plays we produce each season. Prices vary for limited-run special performances on the main stage (such as TOO MUCH LIGHT MAKES THE BABY GO BLIND) and events in the Melton Rehearsal Hall.

Inclement Weather Policy

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company generally looks to Metro closings in inclement weather as to whether we will cancel a performance. Should Metro close either all stations or just the above ground stations, we will cancel a performance. Ticketholders for those performances will be notified by email or phone call as soon as the decision is made. Updates can also be found on Woolly’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Patrons 25 & Under

Patrons who are 25 or under may purchase tickets for $15 for any performance of Woolly's main stage subscription productions (with I.D., based on availability, maximum 4 tickets per sale, all guests must be 25 and under). To purchase in advance or check availability: 202-393-3939. Tickets are also available online; you must show proper I.D. when tickets are picked up. 25-and-under discounts are not availble for limited-run special performances, such as The Neo-Futurists or Machomer, as these shows are already discounted.

Stampede Seats

Woolly makes 10 or more side balcony seats available for all mainstage subscription performances (except special performances, VIP and opening nights) at $15 each. They are sold 2 hours prior to showtime, on a first-come, first-served basis, 2 per person. Stampede seats are not availble for limited-run special performances, such as The Neo-Futurists or Machomer, as these shows are already discounted.

Pay-What-You-Can Performances

Woolly offers Pay-What-You-Can tickets for the first two performances (usually Monday and Tuesday) of every main stage subscription series production. Tickets are sold at the theatre those evenings 90 minutes prior to showtime. Two per person, cash or check only.
