Coinciding with Capital Pride 2012, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company presents a reading of 8, a new documentary play by Dustin Lance Black (Milk, J.Edgar) about the Federal District court case filed by AFER to overturn Proposition 8, which eliminated gay and lesbian couples’ right to marry in California in 2008.
PANEL DISCUSSION
There will be a town hall-style discussion immediately following the reading, featuring:

T8KE ACTION: ACTIVISM FAIR

Free and Open to the Public
Woolly and local organizations will collaborate to host T8KE ACTION—an LGBTQ Activism Fair. Visitors can learn about ways to get involved with important issues affecting the LGBTQ community here in DC. Participating organizations include the National Gay and Lesbian Task force, the ACLU, Human Rights Campaign, SMYAL, Metro Teen AIDS, the Community Education Group, PFLAG DC, and the DC Center for the LGBT Community .
