WOOLLY MAMMOTH’S HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS:
As Woolly prepares to return to live performances this fall, we wanted to share more information about what we have done and are doing to make your experience at Woolly as safe as possible. These policies are meant to keep audiences, staff, and artists as safe as possible from the spread of COVID-19. Policies are subject to change to be in line with recommendations from city and federal health officials and we will update our safety page as the situation develops.
VACCINATION / NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST REQUIREMENT
Entrance to any performance at Woolly Mammoth will require proof of full vaccination, or, for those who are not vaccinated, proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event start time. To locate a free testing facility, please visit our resource guide here:
ARRIVE EARLY
We strongly encourage you to arrive at least 20 minutes early for check-in to ensure there is enough time to move through the check in line, will call line, use the facilities, and find your seat.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Before you enter the building, we will check your proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 PCR test against a matching photo ID. Woolly Mammoth will accept ANY ONE of the following methods for proving vaccination:
- Physical vaccination card/print out of COVID-19 PCR test
- Photo of vaccination card/screenshot of negative COVID-19 PCR test results on a mobile device
Woolly Mammoth is currently NOT accepting proof of vaccination through mobile or third party apps (ex. Excelsior Pass, Bindle).
MASK POLICY
All audience and staff members are required to wear a mask inside the building and encouraged to practice social distancing while in the lobby.
IN THE THEATRE
Woolly will not be doing timed entry so feel free to enter the space once the house is open. We ask you to use best judgement to help reduce crowds in both the lobby and at the theatre entrance.
Masks that fully cover your nose and mouth must also be worn while inside the theatre. If you would like to be re-seated for any reason, please visit the box office.
Seating will be at full capacity (except at Distanced Performances). If you would like to be re-seated or moved to a lower capacity performance for any reason, please visit the box office.
Distanced Performances
Distanced Performances are available for select performances during the run for those who feel more comfortable in a theatre when seated only directly beside members of their own party or alone. All seats to the side, in front, and behind each party (of any size) will be blocked off and unavailable to other audience members, creating a distanced seating experience.
A Strange Loop will have distanced seating at the December 14 and December 22 Matinee performances. Dates for distanced performances for the rest of the season are TBA.
PLAYBILL
In a continued effort to reduce touchpoints, our programs will be both physical and digital. You can access the QR code for the digital playbill on laminated pieces of paper placed around the lobby and on the back of theatre chairs. It will also be linked in pre and post-show emails for you to read ahead of time.
Digital playbills also create a more accessible option for patrons with low vision and Woolly is committed to making our content accessible to all audience members.
