Danielle Reed aka Girl Genius

Girl Genius has worked, shared stages, featured and competed with some of the best poets in the country. In 2018 she was a member of DC’s National Poetry Slam team and the 2018 National Haiku Death Match Champion. In 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 she was a member of Rich Ink Slam Team (Richmond, VA) and the 2021 Southern Fried Haiku Death Match Champion.  She’s also been a host and bout manager for several events including the Pajama Jammie Jam Slam held 4th Fridays at Busboys and Poets, Takoma Park.
