Katie Ciszek

Katie Ciszek (they/she) lives in Washington, DC where they spend their most cherished time working for theaters, urban gardens, and other arts/educational spaces. They believe in the power of poetry, theatre, and collaborative art-making as tools for building community. As a director and directing assistant, Katie has worked with The Kennedy Center, Ford’s Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, and Keegan Theatre, among others. Dramaturgy credits include Westport Country Playhouse, Olney Theatre Center, the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, Barrington Stage Company, and Asolo Repertory Theatre. They hold a BA in Theatre, Media Arts & Design, and Creative Writing from James Madison University.
