Neko Ramos

Neko Ramos is an actor, writer, poet/spoken word artist, teacher, educator, and motivational speaker from PG County, MD. He is a graduate of THE Howard University, where he received his BFA in Theatre with a concentration in Acting. He’s performed with many theatre companies in DC, such as Theater Alliance, Young Playwright’s Theatre, and Kennedy Center. He’s worked with HBO on multiple projects over the years. He’s been writing poetry over the last 19 years, but has been performing consistently over the last three years (online and in-person). He’s featured with multiple platforms in the DMV (including Trap Poetry and multiple Busboys and Poets locations) and has been featured in Brooklyn, NY and Philadelphia multiple times (including with Voices in Power who he’s an online host for). Neko is passionate about youth arts education and is a teacher for DC charter schools, as well as a mentor and youth leader. He hopes people leave inspired to heal, grow, and be their better selves after hearing his art.
