    Theatre Fundamentals with Howard Shalwitz

    Sunday, June 10  //  10am - 5pm  //  Woolly Mammoth

Woolly Mammoth is pleased to offer you an opportunity to hone your theatre skills with Artistic Director Howard Shalwitz in a special, one-day event!

The day starts with an interactive lesson in basic theatre techniques led by Howard, followed by a matinee performance of our final production of the 2018-19 season, Botticelli in the Fire. Following the performance, the group will gather to discuss what you’ve seen, what you’ve learned, and how you can keep building on these skills at home.

Any theatre (or Woolly!) lover will find this event a unique and rare treat – and there’s no prior training needed! This event is designed to help you gain a deeper understanding of how actors and directors work with a script and provide you with the tools to gain new insights for interpreting what you see and hear on stage.
