This month Spit Dat celebrates two pillars of poetry and veritable celebrities of slam. And considering that this month's theme is "Your Favorite Poets' Favorite Poets", it is only fitting that those two be Gayle Danley and Twain Dooley. The Danley-Dooley duo have inspired and influenced legions of writers and performers with their unmatched gifts of candor, cleverness, heart and soul. And Monday, September 7 is quite a fitting date to celebrate these two, considering it is their wedding anniversary!
