Why did you go with the titles RISK-TAKERS, REVOLUTIONARIES, and RADICALS?

Woolly Mammoth has always been happy to associate ourselves with the words risky, revolutionary, and radical. It’s at the core of our mission both on and off the stage. What better way to continue to recognize these traits than by cementing them as the new names of our donor circles?

If I’m not picking a show to sponsor, how will I make sure I’m invited to the events I want to attend like certain First Rehearsals and Cast Dinners?

When making your gift or pledge of $1,000+, just let us know which show or shows you’re most interested in and we’ll do our best to make sure you receive invitations for that production’s events. Otherwise, a member of our development staff will personally curate your invites and surprise you! Additionally, we’re excited to expand our Behind-the-Scenes Looks to include our Connectivity programming.

How will the COVID19 pandemic affect my benefits?

To attend any in-person donor events, patrons will need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test as outlined in our policy institutional policy here. As of September 1, we are planning to hold in-person donor events but will notify patrons within 72 hours of any scheduled event should that change.

How will the new benefits impact how I’m recognized in the playbill?

As a part of our commitment to live-out our values, we will continue to list all donors making contributions of $120+ in alphabetical order with an “*” or “+” to differentiate types of gifts and contribution amounts above $10,000.

What if I donated recently? Will I receive the new benefits?

While Woolly Mammoth’s fiscal year starts on July 1, donors are eligible to receive benefits for 12 months from the date of their gift or pledge. To confirm the date of your last gift and/or to make sure you are eligible to receive the new benefits before the first show of our season, please contact our Development offices at development@woollymammoth.net or 202-312-5276.

What if I was a Season 40 Show Sponsor for the postponed production of TEENAGE DICK and/or THERE’S ALWAYS THE HUDSON?

Woolly Mammoth is pleased to honor the benefits promised to Show Sponsors of TEENAGE DICK by Mike Lew and THERE’S ALWAYS THE HUDSON by Paola Lazaro in addition to any new benefits that a donor is eligible for with their contribution this season. Can I split my gift up into multiple payments?

To split your annual gift into 12 or less monthly payments, please call our Development offices at development@woollymammoth.net or 202-312-5276.

How do I access the VIP Patron Hotline?

Available to donors contributing $1,500+, the VIP Patron Hotline is open from 10am-6pm Monday through Friday. Dial 202-312-5276 to bypass the Box Office to: Purchase single tickets or subscriptions; Exchange tickets without added fees; RSVP to donor events and/or book special complimentary tickets (subject to availability and giving level).

ABOUT THE DONOR EVENTS

• Behind the Scenes Look: Enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes look of a Woolly production! Mix and mingle with staff and other creative team members and learn about the unique process of bringing Woolly’s work to life.
• First Rehearsal: Sit in on the very first rehearsal of a Woolly production! Listen to the cast and creative team get together for the first time to introduce the show, read through the script, and present the initial design concepts. This exclusive preview is a great way to see the process from the very beginning.
• Cast Dinner: Directly following the First Rehearsal, you’re invited to a special dinner where you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about our artists, directly from the source.
• Opening Night Celebration: Join us at the Opening Night performance followed by a reception in our lobby.Celebrate with us as we toast the cast and creative team – and, of course, our patrons!
