LA Wildfire Support Resources
We are devastated and heartbroken by our community of loved ones affected by the wildfires in LA. We want to take this time to not only acknowledge the impact created by the wildfires, but how we can support our community’s staff and artists losing their homes. Please consider donating to these theatres and organizations directly so they can provide support for their community.
There are a number of global and national relief efforts that need our support including Red Cross, World Central Kitchen, GoFundMe, and the LAFD Foundation.
IMPACTED THEATRES
This list will be continuously updated by our team as we stay in touch with our theatre community.
East West Players Have shared resources for how we can support their community.
Theatre Palisades We lost the Theatre Palisades on January 8th. All programming has been cancelled and suspended while they seek support.
Pasadena Playhouse Given the extensive impact of the fires on Playhouse staff, artists, and audiences, they have made the difficult decision to cancel the upcoming In Concert productions of Anything Goes and Follies at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
Fringe Festival participants and other artists, including a Bob Baker Marionettes master puppet builder, lost their homes.
The Nocturne Theatre (formerly Glendale Centre Theatre) lost its warehouse of costumes and is seeking sewing machines, new warehouse space and artisans to help rebuild.
