Sage Fortune is a multidisciplinary artist from Long Island, NY. She received her B.F.A. in Acting from Howard University. Her previous work includes Camae in Katori Hall’s The Mountaintop and the titular role in Lysistrata. A quote that Sage aims to live by: “Surely the world can be saved by all the people who insist on love.” ~Alice Walker

Jaida Gillespie is a graduating Senior Theatre Arts Acting major at Howard University. They look forward for you all to see this raw and capturing piece. They believe their work at BADA (British American Drama Academy), and continuous work in acting with their classmates and Professors helped to guide them in their direction. They look forward to developing this piece even further, and continuing their journey as an actor, director, and writer. This piece is directed by Savannah Blackwell.

Sajada Heard is a dynamic artist who fulfills her passion through storytelling. She is currently pursuing a B.F.A in Acting with a minor in TV & Film from Howard University and will graduate in May 2024. Since arriving at Howard, Sajada has explored many aspects of her creativity and honed her skills as a performer, writer, and director on many projects. She believes there is no limit to her artistry and with each project she strives to amplify underrepresented voices, highlight the beauty of black culture, and foster healing in her community. Her dedication and love for her community push her to be a better artist every day.

Chloé Yasmine (she/her) is a multi-hyphenated writer, director, and actress from Flint, Michigan. She most recently worked on Howard University’s production of Rhyme Deferred as an assistant director this past fall. Her play, CONSUME, which was written and directed by her, debuted in the 2022 Howard Players 8×10 Play Festival and received first place in the festival as well. Chloé is a member of Cohort 4 of the Howard Entertainment program and Cohort 1 of The Disney Storytellers Fund. She would like to thank her village for their continuous support and encouragement!

Anaari Russe is a senior acting major at the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts at Howard University from Baltimore, MD. This is her first production with the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. She is very grateful for this opportunity to share her artistry and writing in such a capacity. She would like to thank God for blessing her always, her loving family, and Professor Eric Ruffin for their continued support, wisdom, guidance, and motivation throughout her journey. She hopes you enjoy yourself and would like to thank you so much for coming!

Nadira Davidson is a senior acting major at Howard University from Lithonia, Georgia. A passionate lover of theatre, this is Nadira’s first writing project! She would like to first thank God for guidance, love and support, Professor Ruffin for believing in her and her vision, her family and friends for always supporting and motivating her. She is grateful to be able to share her artistry with her community and hopes it inspires all artists to believe in their stories.
