The Open Doors Festival

Open Doors is curated by people with disabilities and welcomes all to participate and celebrate disability culture. The festival will be held the weekend of October 19, 2024 at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, featuring performances, art installations, panel discussions, and an arts market. The event is free and celebrates disability culture by uplifting artists with disabilities and by developing community with artists and organizations invested in disability arts.

The festival was founded by Open Circle Theatre and is presented in partnership with Story Tapestries Extreme Length Productions Georgetown Disability Cultural Center and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company

The Open Doors Festival is made possible thanks to the support of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities Projects, Events, or Festivals Grant program.

The event begins at 1pm. Guests are welcome to arrive at any time.
