The Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington (CAGW) is dedicated to sustaining and increasing regional leadership, appreciation, support and resources for arts and culture. CAGW builds and nurtures a regional network by enhancing the connection, collaboration, and conversation within the arts and cultural community and among business and other interest groups.

Cultural Tourism DC

Cultural Tourism DC (CTdc) strengthens the image and economy of Washington, DC, neighborhood by neighborhood, by linking more than 185 DC cultural and neighborhood organizations with partners in tourism, hospitality, government, and business. CTdc offers an innovative model for maximizing the economic impact of cultural tourism in urban neighborhoods and helps residents and tourists discover and experience Washington’s authentic arts and culture.

Downtown Business Improvement District

The Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) is a tax-funded nonprofit that works to revitalize the city’s urban core. The District covers a 138-block neighborhood near the U.S. Capitol to the White House where property owners tax themselves to make their community cleaner, safer and more vibrant. The Downtown BID encompasses the Penn Quarter, Gallery Place, Chinatown, McPherson Square, Federal Triangle, Midtown and Franklin Square neighborhoods.

Theatrewashington

TheatreWashington recognizes achievement and promotes excellence in theatrical production and performance in the Washington metropolitan area, stimulates further development of the professional theater community and thereby the community as a whole, and encourages the growth and stability of theatrical audiences and support for professional theaters.

League of Washington Theatres

The League of Washington Theatres is an association of nonprofit professional theaters and related organizations in the greater Washington metropolitan area. The League was established in 1982 to create greater public awareness, appreciation, and support for theater in the Washington area. For over 20 years, the members of the League have been at the center of an exciting, ever growing, nationally acclaimed theater community.

An alliance of not-for-profit professional theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays for the American theater.
